    Ruger 10/22 Tactical Target

Does anyone have this rifle? What do you think of it? I want to buy one but nobody seems to stock it. Any recommendations on where I can locate one in SoCal, or even online?

    belongs in rimfire forum

but its a good rifle. i'd rather just get a standard since you'll be replacing everything on it except the receiver anyway

Barrel and stock are GTG, but the trigger definitely needs work. Doing a bed/pillar bed and a simple 54.00 power custom hammer, sear, springs, and shim kit will do wonders. Shooting clover leafs at 50 yards using Federal Bulk ammo is easily accomplished.

10-22 is the most fun little rifle to play with. More Accessories available than a 1911. And pretty much all are DIY.
Get the standard & assemble your own custom toy.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Was my first firearm, and it was super fun. Definitely a bench gun since the entire setup with the thick bull barrel was so heavy for a rimfire, but that thing looked great, shot great, and was just a whole boatload of fun. Get one, you won't regret it. Also, people might not have them in stock because they aren't really all that much in demand, but you can definitely have them order one for you and work out a price.
