I think it will be perfect for my daughter to start out with. I'll make myself like it.

You should be fine unless you have gigantic hands. The Sig Mosquito isn't that much bigger than the SR22 so if you are good with the Sig you should be good with the SR22 as well.

I get my out of jail on Wednesday. The only problem is that the route I need to take to get there is a PITA @ 5:00 pm.

They are fun little guns. At just over 1000 rounds I have had no troubles with mine. The problem with the take down lever I hear is when shooting subsonic ammo. I just shoot Federal red or blue bulk and it shoots just fine.

Get the SR 22. Fun little pistol! You could feed any ammo!

Just shot mine today for the first time and it was definitely fun to shoot.

I was worried that it would shoot like a glorified bb gun but it does have enough recoil to make it satisfying. I shot about 400 rounds of bulk CCI Blazer with no issues.

I was lucky to find it in stock on gungenie.com and got it for around $360-ish OTD and had it delivered to a FFL in Los Gatos.

the sr22 is plain fun. the gun itself is more accurate than i am. with me benchresting it, its accurate. the smallness of the gun does make it more challenging to shooot, but thats just more reason to get it. good practice for trigger control, aim, basics and stuff. get it. u wont regret it.

Was going to pick up the sr22 after ready many great reviews about it but the Walther p22 felt right in my wife's hand and was functionally similar to my HK's with the paddle mag release, and since the purchase was to get her comfortable with the larger firearms we went that way. 0 failures of any kind so far with that pistol, although I still want the sr22 just because it was so nice.

I thought the SR22 came with a second set of larger grips. Didn't that solve the problem of it feeling small? The one I held had the small grips and I did not like the feel.

I've had my SR22 for a little bit now, it's put about 400-500 rounds down range with only 1 FTF which I blame on ammo. Now I'm only been using Federal bulk red box and it's been great. My wife and 12 year old son like it as well.

                                SR 22

I get mine out of jail tomorrow. Can't wait to shoot it! Bought it last week at Turner's when it was on sale for $329 + tax + dros. I was thinking the M&P but after holding it I thought it would be perfect for my boys and my wife who has small hands. It's hard to beat the two mags and two different grips. Every thing I read and saw about it was 99 % positive. If it'll shoot bulk ammo it's a good enough plinker for me.
