    Belgum Browning.

Just bought a Belgum Browning from another Cal-Gunner here last night.
Unfortunately it is short 2or3 years from being C&R so now I have to do the waiting game.
Cant wait to spring it out of Jail and take it on a shooting date.

    Is it one of these?

I've always liked that rifle, along with the Winchester model 63 and Remiington Nylon 66.

Is that their "Takedown" model Red?
      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

If referring to the rifle pictured above, it is. It's a fun rifle to shoot.

Yep. That takedown lever, both pins, and both springs, are brand new replacements. Enjoy the new rifle!

Dandy little rifles---very trim and lightweight---I have a Belgium 22 like the one in the picture except it has what is called the "wheelsight" that is a small circle of metal on the rear sight that allows you to change the elevation by rotating the "wheel." A real classic!

Check the front sight, I had mine fall off during recoil.
Very cool rifle, watch offhand placement. (bottom-eject)

Yeah watch out for bottom ejection---I had mine toss a HOT case (!) right down the front of a young girls breast area---she did not care for that one bit, but was game enough to continue after I loaned her a sweater my wife keeps in the trunk of the car just in case she's out and it turns cold.
