Cci stingers 32 grain

Nice, hot .22LR round that can get near the .22Mag in some guns.
Not for use in match or other tight chambers due to the longer case possibly pinching the bullet and keeping it from leaving the chamber.
Because it has to be used in looser chambers, accuracy may suffer but it's not the ammo's fault.
Every .22 gun has ammo they like and dislike.

I bought a box today and I was happy with my purchase cci did it this time. today I went on a hunt for jack rabbits and usually when I shoot with the bulk 36grain Winchester ammo they go down but are still kickin.. BUT! With the stingers I shoot one at 80 yards and this jacks skull came right off these little bullets are sure something! I wanted to take pics but it was just a massacre I give these rounds 10/10 thanks guys for the comments ^^ and I shot these rounds on a ruger 10/22Comment

Shoot one of those stingers at a grapefruit, it will vaporize it. Splits a ground squirrel like a banana. These are some of the best rounds for instant kills.sigpicComment

50 rounds, not inexpensive ammo. Demand drives the price. Not a lot of folks shooting Stingers compared to other bulk .22lr rounds, so pay more due to that and the performance factor. Still its half the price of .22 WMR and .17HMR. It has 191 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle so 2/3 the energy of a .22 WMR.(around 304 ft/lbs for 40gr bullet).
My experience is that the .22 WMR is much more accurate. I guess the best thing it has going for it over a .22 WMR is that you don't have to buy another rifle, but then another rifle is always a good thing.Comment

Maybe next time, sir. Maybe next time.I had a shot at a squirrel today. My rifle is zeroed at 50 yards with the CCI Subsonics. I checked the zero with stingers at 50 yards and it was only about two inches higher.
Saw a squirrel at about 100 yards, took aim at the chest, squirrel was standing. The bullet went right over his head. The squirrel heard the shot and squatted down. I aimed just below him and it still went over him. He got away today.
I've taken about half a dozen squirrels on this rock pile from the same shooting position using the sub sonics. I aim a couple inches above their head and lob the bullet into their chest.
I'm just going to stick with subsonics since I already know my hold overs. If its too far of a shot for regular high velocity or subsonic 22lr, thats what 223 vmax is for!

Hey all, CCI Stingers are a love hate relationship with my equipment. My h001 hates them and my 64fxp just great out to 50-60 yards with them. This round and the Velocitors are the only two lr i would feel comfortable shooting a coyote at ranges closer than 75 yards. I wouod still prefer my .22 mag but if i needed to its nice to know they are capable.Rifles:
