    Wood. If I was going to get a synthetic stock I'd rather have a Hogue than the factory synthetic.
    The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

      For being out in the weather, synthetic. That's the rainy/snowy season.

      For beauty, wood--without question. That's late spring, summer, and early fall.

      Fortunately, "used" wood stocks are reasonably common, given that a lot of people customize their rifles. I picked mine up from a buddy for $10. Was in great condition, too.

          I voted wood, because I like the look of real wood. I am not into the "Tacti-COOL" look. I know that in some instances the synthetic stock my have a purpose. I actually have that on my Mossberg 590.
