High Velocity .22LR safe for older firearms?

I understand the lead deposit issue, but the corrosion I don't since I don't shoot corrosive ammo...

The deposit traps moisture, dirt, etc., and holds it next to the barrel steel, where it can do its damage 24/7. This is how 95% of the older guns get damage in their bores.

i had a rem 12 and i shot aguillas through it pretty much non stop for the last 13 years i never cleaned it and the chamber ended up pitted like stucco i sold it for cheap cause i didnt want to have it rebarreled also i dropped it on the edge of my safe and the buttplate shattered then i lost one of the slide action screws so it was kind of pizzin me off

i did fire a bunch of thundderbolt through it and they didn't hurt nothing

i liked it it was neat how the tube moved along when trombonin it i loved how the mag tube would lock in place not just a twist like most other tubers super easy to clean even though i hardly ever did and when i broke a firing pin it was an easy swap

also it was neat if you had a nice tough finger you could unlock it with your finger in the front of the trigger guard for the first bullet pump the little lever had a kind of nub inside the guard
