Need good scope 1" rings for Marlin model 60. <update on post 26>

Couldn't find any rings by the model number. There any like the Nikon m223 scope rings? I think the rail is 3/4.

Good call, the Marlin dovetail is kind of soft and prone to walking.

I have it on my Marlin 795, it is rock solid and it's a good value too.

Another vote for the UTG mount. Solid.

A picture of my UTG mount is in the below if you are curious. It is the only thing that held solid for me after two sets of rings, clear nail polish around the dovetail (I was desperate to get it to stop walking)...

I've seen these ones suggested before and they look nice...
I just don't get why you would spend apx 3x as much to get those over the UTG...

For rimfire, the UTG stuff I've used in the past has actually been great. Wouldn't trust it for centerfire much though. Had an AR grip once and that was it from them.

You can also get this style mount from Gamo and Centerpoint through Pyramid Air.
The same dovetail dimensions are used on air guns and .22s.
These are the only type of mounts I have found that will stand up to the recoil of the springer 1,000FPS air rifles.
These air rifles are actually tougher on scopes than gunpowder rifles because air gun recoil goes both ways.

Get some blue locktite and use on the screws to the dovetail, wait 24 hours and it will be rock solid. The blue locktite will allow you to remove the screws if needed. DO NOT USE RED LOCKTITE!!!
