I thought that was pretty much top dollar.
Haven't tried mini mag22, Remington gold is the same as win m-22. Cci ar-tactical is flawless, same with Remington lightning.

I've been testing different brands of 22lr, I'm disappointed with a lot of brands for my ar-15 22lr. I'll buy more 22 brands next weekend for testing.

In all fairness - no. But... if it's 22lr, it's 22lr. Claiming it's made to work better in one specific gun type is clever marketing. If suddenly lever-action .22lr became as popular as quickly as "tactical" .22's did (specifically the SW), then I'm sure we'd see "cowboy" .22lr on the shelf at WM.

Huge demand for one of the best .22 LR ammo. Online may be your best bet. Even cheaper if you buy a brick or case.

All walmarts I have been to has cci minimags 100 for 6.98. Turners is retardedly over priced for ammo. Now the federal 550 bulk box at 20 bucks is impossible to find! So far that is the best performing .22lr I have found for my rifle.

The median price seems to be about $6.99 online, and I only paid .50 cents more at Turners. IMO, not too bad.

Ammunition is not expensive...it is our dollar that is so worthless!

$6.98 at Walmart today, and there was no shortage of it.

Same here, picked up 2 boxes @ Disney / Wally World. Along with a couple of boxes of Remington Thunderbolt. I passed on the Remington Golden Bullet 225 rds, tho. Anyone shot that Remington Golden Bullet / 22LR ?
