Sig 522 SWAT pistol move to CA

I am bring my 522 with me and will be adding a bullet button and getting my 26rd mags pinned permanently to 10 (struggling to find 10/26 and I don't like the short ones). Is there anything else I need to do?

Can you foresee any issues with me having large cap mags reduced?

    Cheers

Nope you're good. I would also bring some "rebuild kits" with you. Basically magazines broken down into parts so that if you go out of CA you can put them together for use.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I thought bullet buttons were not necessary on rimfires? Is there a difference since it's a pistol or am I just misinformed?

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I may have missed something, but as this is a rimfire rifle there is no need for a bullet button. You can have all the "evil features" you want and no button since it's a 22 cal. The magazines you will need to break down before you move, or pin/block them before you come to california.

CA Pistol AW Law doesn't exempt rimfires.

Umm, read the thread title. It's a pistol, not a rifle.

Now do you see how it isn't a rifle?

So I did indeed miss something, I stand corrected.

                    Yeah, the flowchart makes it
even though the laws themselves were written by monkeys.

Yup your right my bullet button won't fit. I don't physically have the pistol with me but my FFL tells me it doesn't fit but it was fine on my 556 pistol so I guess that is an issue. Any ideas?

                      Thanks

Go to Assault Planet dot com and talk to them. They are the makers of the OG Bullet Button and see if they can help.

if anyone can find a bullet button that fits the 522 swat pistol, please post up the info here. i've been trying to acquire that pistol but the bullet button is the only thing holding me back...
