Anything CCI will always be at the top of the list. But why not just a pack or two of everything? I've had my 10/22 for a few years now and I'm still buying different brands and types of ammo trying to find what works and doesn't. Currently I'm wanting to try some Aguila personally.

For the 10/22, I think they ship with a warning to not use Stinger ammo in certain versions. I'll see if I can dig it up, but I think it relates to the tactical version.

I love Wolf ammo, but I can get decent results with CCI Blazers at shorter range. Depending on your goal (pure target shooting, plinking, mix) you may be able to use both to lower the average cost. Someone with way more experience than I mentioned not to do this in a good target gun, so consider that. For plinking and occasional fun paper punching I see no reason that you could not buy some blazers (or whatever your gun shoots well) an some WTM for target time.

Actually, Lapua makes if for Sk and Wolf. When you buy it by the case, it comes in Lapua marked cases.

Lapua owns SK, or rather, is SK. SK manufactures the ammo using Lapua cases. It gets branded as Wolf. At least that's what I gather from here

It's all very convoluted. But in the end, wolf is quite good .22lr ammo, but I usually just use CCI because of cost.

            Thanks for the scoop, Bartin.
