I was out with some yesterday. 12 jams in my tiger 22/45. Switched to cci no problems after that. The stuff just sucks

Agreed, most problems I have had with these are failure to fire; even in an old revolver without a transfer bar.Yeah, just use it in your revolver so you only have to deal with the duds and not the jams.

I've had 0 issues in my SR22 (~200 rounds) and Marlin 795 (~100 rounds) so far. The gold glitter you get on your hands and gun is annoying, though.Comment

I haven't had any failure to feed or misfires with GB after only 10 rounds it looks like dipped my clip into a bucket of broken up pencil dust.
I'll be sticking to Winchesters CPHP, for the extra few bucks.Comment

i had my gsg 1911 blow up with the Rem gb, the whole rear of the case blew out into my face and split my slide in 2 pieces up to the ejection port

Same with my Advantage arms g23 conversion...they actually recomend the ol'Golden Remmys. Federal bulk does not work...go figure!?!I guess .22's can be picky "eaters". I have a Marvel Precision rimfire kit for a SA 1911 Loaded Target. Talk about finicky. Several different CCI loads and Federal loads gave me about a 30% FTF rate.
I had a box of 40 gr. GBs that I tried in desperation. They ran through that 1911 like water through a seive. No malfs at all, and printed very consistent groups too.Comment

Thanks for sharing the info man. Yeah, CCI Blazer usually works great in all my 22lr guns.Comment

I had no luck with the GB either. I can't remember specifically now, just thinking that I'd never use it again. Federal seems to work great for me in everything.Comment

The stuff never worked in my GSG-5, Colt M4 or any of my .22 pistols, Walther P22 and SIG Mosquito. I haven't tried it in my Browning 1911 .22 A1 yet. My SIG 522 will feed it though. I find that Remington Thunderbolts work well in all my guns too. It is the most accurate ammo I run through my little Browning. Strange.Comment
