Are there any trigger mods that can be done to get rid of some of the creep and lighten the pull?

None that I know of. If anybody knows, please post! That DA trigger pull is tough! After dry firing the gun like 100 times my finger and wrist was sore for a day!

I just started DROS on my second SR22P if that tells you anything about how I like the gun. I will say that there is no finer 22 than the Mark III.

Buckmarks are fine guns but I will take either of the Rugers over it. But that is a very personal opinion.

Two SR22's! AWESOME! Dual wield them pistols! I gotta agree with you rogervzv. I am definitely a Ruger man. All but 1 of my guns are Rugers!

Went to the range again put over 500 rounds through sr22 with a few ftf using bulk ammo again. shot great all my friends loved it. Unfortunately, my 92fs jammed and i almost had a heart attack.. I guess i did not oil it very well at all. It ran flawless using ammo i bought then we switched to some old +p ammo my friend came across,thats when the problems started.(never had one jam prior to this old ammo)

I finally dropped the hammer and bought one friday. I had to have it after shooting one the week before so I put it on the CC I can't wait to pick it up and shoot the heck out of it. Now between my GSG and the SR22 I can alternate and not get bored shooting just one 22.

Is the hammer bite that bad? I haven't had a chance to go to the range yet, but at least for my hand it doesn't seem like it will pinch. Can you notice the pinch or is it just a little redness that you notice after shooting the gun?

I really don't even notice it while shooting. I more noticed a red spot on my hand after shooting it. I tend to grip handguns as high as possible and sometimes grab maybe a little too high. I have figured out that if I don't try to grip the SR22 as high (a few millimeters lower) I don't get that little reddish spot. I might try to grind down the hammer to make it smoother in the future. Don't think it is necessary but it wouldn't hurt.
