does anyone know anything about the magtech 7022???

i can't seem to find anything on the magtech 7022 except on old forums that i don't have access too. gun broker doesn't have anything except the magazines and all google has are pictures.

i found on craigslist that some guy wants to trade a Magtech 7022 for my nearly brand new Hoyt Reflex Excursion compound bow i bought it several years ago and only used it once in an indoor archery range, i never got into the sport so the bow has been sitting in my closet since. i understand that Magtech discontinued making firearms, is there a bad reason behind that? is this trade worth it? i found my bow on ebay for $250 used the only difference is that mine is a 60-70lbs, mine is a 25"-27" draw and the sights. i found on another forum that this guy pain $60 for a brand new Magtech 7022 at walmart when they were discontinued.

the guy was saying that he could sell me the rifle without going through a FFL because he has had the rifle for over 3 years and it has most likely been purged out of the system unlike handguns. is this true? and if it is could i safely legally own it? if so, could i get it put back into the system under my name?

oh any if anyone wants to do a similar trade with me, LMK! it comes with a brand new tarantula soft "real tree"/coyote brown case, a tarantula wrist guard, a fletcher trigger, and a "flex pull" arrow puller. (let me know with a PM cause for some reason calguns doesn't notify if someone replies to your thread)

    thanks guys/gals!

Fisrt off you must do a PPT on most all guns in CA; including this one.

From a quick google it looks like this was a very inexpensive rifle. It also looks like Mossberg might have bought the rights to this gun and are selling it as the 702 Plinkster.

If your X-bow is worth what tou say I think the other person should pay the PPT fee and give you some cash too.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I'm no expert on the Magtech 7022, but, I picked one up a few weeks ago at my local pawn shop. I ran 350 rounds through it today and it worked flawlessly. They are cheap rifles, so the deal should include something else on his side. It's a fun little gun and my son loves it!

never mind, thanks guys. this guy has a hard on for selling/trading the rifle without going through a PTT. i'm no longer interested.
