    M&P .22 CA approved ?

Has anybody heard if S&W plans to put the M&P .22 on the California approved list?

Are you talking a pistol version? Otherwise the rifle is already being sold in stores.

I'm pretty sure Evan is talking about the pistol version.

I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Yup talking about the pistol version. I'd really like to get one, But I haven't seen anywhere if they are gonna be tested in CA.

I don't think so. If you look at that link posted above there is no mention of a magazine disconnect safety. Without that they can't even submit it for testing.
          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

After the first few M&P models were added to the list the DOJ decided not to accept the M&P's loaded chamber indicator as sufficient so there is no reason for S&W to submit it for testing.

Rim-Fire cartridges don't need LCI's; only magazine disconnect safeties.

Show me where it says that please...
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

Seems like a pretty easy fix for S&W. Let's hope they add a mag safety. I want one!
