I think our very smart legislatures figure we would want to shoot someone with a new firearm, not an old one. Guess we should be happy they don't make us wait six months.

You got that right. It is hard every time. Sometime I try to fool myself by DROS on Friday, two weekend in the wait make it goes by faster. Sad.

I'm fairly immune to the wait period now. DROS'ed one yesterday. Haven't really been thinking about it. Have another one that I could have picked up on Monday, but have been too lazy to drive down there. I'll pick it up next time I'm in the area.

I started dros on a 10/22 last wednesday not thinking about Super Bowl and I can't pick it up till 3:30,

10 days wait never bothered me.. Do i look forward to it? Yes i do. I travel alot 2-3 weeks all the time. I usually try to purchase a pistol just before i leave, by the time im back, its ready to be picked up.

just buy another gun. that usually makes it easier. plus, when you pick it up, it is more enjoyable.
