Disabling the mag disconnect is a no brainer trade for the mkiii style mag release.

      I know... I've been after a KMK10 for sometime now. Pity they don't make a 10" MkIII.

This. Just get a MKIII and contact Sam Lam on rimfirecentral for one of his bushings. Or just go all in and get a Volq MKII accurizing kit

Never even knew there was a handgun list. Why is there even such a list? What does the list accomplish? Do companies have to pay to be on the list? Is it a permanent list or do they have to redo it every year or what? A lot of questions I know, sorry.

this is a list that ONLY CA - they charge the manufacture some crazy amount like 150 thousand per gun on the list plus they need to get three guns for drop testing. its some BS the lefty politicians thought up to make more $$$ on guns and harder for citizens who wish to use their 2nd amendment right

soon thanks to Gov Brown (poo) no longer can we open carry in CA and in 2014 long guns will also be registered just llike handguns. great job voters!

If my family, work and friends werent in CA, Id move to arizona, texas or neveda.

The $10 (I think I spent a total of $10.80 or something) Sam Lam bushing gives the MkIII a better trigger than stock, plus it has a conventional magazine release vs the odd one on the MkII. I'm happy with mine.

What? $150,000? I've read 2,000-10,000 plus renewal fees, but $150,000? I don't think so. CA is in the business of extorting people for money, not pricing their extortion so high that no one is willing to pay.

Sam Lam's Bushing work great . But if you like MKII's like I do (I already have mags for them) Plus I picked up 2 last year, Try consigned guns or ppt. Gunslinger Auctions has a few listed in the auction for Jan. 28th. http://www.gunslingerauctions.com/ . I'm pretty sure everything is consigned, therefore legal to purchase in Cali. The auction is in Orange or you can pay a 20% premium online bidding.
