You got that right! I have been doing my homework on your suggestion. Damn you!! Now you got me looking around for a good price. So, far I'm seeing them as low as $219. It sure looks sharp. I think the gloss WOULD look a lot better than the matte on the rifle. It'll be a couple of months before I buy one. Damn you!

Ha ha! Sorry bud, I was in the same delema, its a beautiful gun and a matte black scope would not do it justice! Hard to find a gloss scope now days, then I came across the 2-7 Leupold. Its smaller at 33mm and just looks right on the gun. Had to have it, the little gold ring on the front set it off! I will try to get some pics of it mounted. You mite find a used one on e-bay. Does not have to be a Leupold, just has to be a gloss colored scope on that rifle!

There are a bunch of guys at the gun club with the Henrys and they seem to shoot super. They are nice to look at as well!!!

              ^^^ Looks really nice! ^^^

Unless I'm wrong, the rifle doesn't have rails for the scope mounts, and I'm curious, what scope mount "adapter" did you go with?

I've got an old lever action 22 Marlin that I'm thinking of adding a scope to, which doesn't have a "built in" weaver/picatinny rail.

              Thanks in advance.

              Cheers !

Henry has there own. You remove the rear sight. Its easy to install. Check there web sight on this. http://www.henryrepeating.com/st-scope-mount.cfm KTM, that does look sharp. I did my homework yesterday. Scope mount $27.50 (from Henry). Scope through Brownell's, $219.99 as well as rings @ $39.86. Total, $287.35. That's not including shipping. Its going to be a couple of months before I do it. It sure looks nice on yours though and will look just as good on mine. Thanks for sharing the pics.
