    Henry @ the range today

Today was the New Henry Golden Boys (Hoo4) first introduction at the range (USI, MP range) today, finally. After I bought it in August 2011 through City Arms/Pleasant Hill, CA. It did way beyond good. At 25yrds. the grouping (5 shots) was X,X,X,X &10. No windage adjustments were needed. The rear sight was on the first notch. At 50yrds. the grouping was X,X,X,10 &10. Elevation up one click. The ammo I was using was CCI Blazer 40gr. I need new glasses, this "AGE" disease sucks. All in all its a fun shooter. Now if I can only figure out how to show pictures on here. I'll have to have my 15 year old grandson help me. http://www.henryrepeating.com/rifle-goldenboy.cfm

I put a 4x air rifle scope on my Henry h001t. It was $8 and has served me well. Plus I think it looks good on the rifle.

Good to know. Who makes them and the quality? $8 is cheap but, you get what you pay for as they say. So far I am looking at Bushnell.

Simmons 22 Mag 3-9x32MM AO is a great scope and will look perfect on that rifle.

I'm using a cabelas scope, 2-7x32. Not too expensive and it works great on my Henry.

Thanks for remembering. It took me long enough to take it out. I have several .22s but, this is my first lever .22 and it was fun shootin it. I am going to shoot it in a match at my gun club on the 21st. That'll be a blast. Looking forward to show it off.

I put a Luepold 2-7 in the gloss black finish on my golden boy 17. HMR. It looks sweet with the gold ring on the front. 220$ well spent on a awsome rifle.

$220 for on a .22 is a little steep to me. Ouch! I will abmit, from looking at it in Midway, it does look nice.
