CV Gun Store has always been way overpriced. I really don't know how they stay in business but they've been there for well over a decade. They used to sell actual firearms, lots of high end stuff like UZI's, MP5's, HK91 & 93's all before the ban. I seem to recall they had some issues with the authorities and POOF, all the firearms were gone and now they only sell accessories.

Not bad at all. Even the bulk Federal ammo I usually shoot runs at $20 for around 550.

I don't think I've ever seen a 300% mark up on any product before. Not even at a stadium!

Two large Heinekins and a bag of peanuts was $29 at the Honda Center for the recent Showtime boxing card Dec. 3rd.

That sounds like the going rate for .22 magnum. Sure your counter guy knew what you were asking him for?

If you're paying that for .22mag, you're also getting screwed!!! I buy .22WMR every other week to stalk up. I only purchase CCI brand. I have NEVER paid over $14.00 for .22mag rounds. Usually I can find it a dollar or two cheaper.

Walked into the Chula Vista Gun Store here in San Diego last week looking to get a box of cci mini mags. When I asked how much for the normal box of 50 the clerk told me $29.99 but there on sale for $24.99!!! I couldn't believe what I just heard!!! I stood there for a second thinking he was joking until he asked me if I wanted them or not. Needless to say he didn't make that sale

That price would be too much for Maxi-Mags, unless for the 100 rnd. box.
