    $24.99 for mini mags!!!!

Walked into the Chula Vista Gun Store here in San Diego last week looking to get a box of cci mini mags. When I asked how much for the normal box of 50 the clerk told me $29.99 but there on sale for $24.99!!! I couldn't believe what I just heard!!! I stood there for a second thinking he was joking until he asked me if I wanted them or not. Needless to say he didn't make that sale

$25 for 50 minimags? You're paying too much.

Walmart has minimags for $6.97 (100-box).

Yeah like I said never bought them, I couldn't believe how outrageous the price was. And I meant to type a "box of 100" in my OP but can't edit posts on my phone.

The most I spent on mini mags was no more than $10 at the range when walmart wasn't an option that day.

I guess some people actually buy
them for that price. That is quite
        pricey indeed.

That makes Guns, Fishing, & Other Stuff seem reasonably priced.

I don't think I've ever seen a 300% mark up on any product before. Not even at a stadium!

That sounds like the going rate for .22 magnum. Sure your counter guy knew what you were asking him for?

Yeah... that sounds like the clerk didn't know what the OP was talking about. Sounds more likely than the store pricing something so high they'd never actually be able to sell it.

CCI maximag goes for $13-$14 (per 50) locally. So, 100rnds for $24.99 might actually be a bargain.

Negative on the .22mag. The box was clearly labled .22lr and there was a price sticker labeled $29.99 and right next to it was another sticker with the "sale price" of $24.99.

Wow... wtf. Is this place a range or just a shop? If it's a range, overcharging customers for ammo to use in the rentals is pretty much something to be expected(even then, that's pretty ridiculous).

just a shop. me and my gf were visiting her mom and the store was across the street, so like anyone here would do, I went to go check out a gun store I've never been in. And what's even lamer is that the "gun store" only sales gun accesories no actual firearims......

LOL, thats match-grade ammo prices there. 50 rounds of Lapua X-act goes for about $25. I would have told them exactly what I told the FFL that wanted to charge me $85 for getting a rifle return shipped to me after a failed transfer. "You are ****ing stupid" and "you just lost a customer"

Its ridiculous the kind of numbers some businesses pull out of their rear-ends

"Moms Demand Action" sounds less like a gun control group and more like the title of a porn flick from the mid-90s.
