That sounds like the best idea. The worst always happens when one is frustrated and starts to get crazy ideas (i.e. the dremel). I'm sure you will figure it out and I'm definitely waiting for the pics now!

Probably, but you'd want the regular pins to allow for disassembly.

Got the three big pins in and all is good... Well, almost good. I failed to notice the trigger pin and one other small pin near it have the mushroom head.

Truly no problem a light touch with the dremel and we should be ready for the stocks.

I tappa tapped the stuck barrel/ receiver combo apart with a piece of wood and re assembled the complete 10/22. So that's back together and in the safe.

The bull barrel slid right onto one of the other receivers so that's on and ready for it's stock when I get it.

The second barreled receiver went into the new stock with it's factory barrel and will get re assembled and finished right after the dremel kiss on those pin heads and be almost done.

When this fiasco ever ends. I will need two scope rails and two scopes.

The Gatling gun kit that the pins came from had the receivers mounted sideways and no stock to keep them in place. The flat (not actually a rivet) end on the pins just kept them from sliding through. It was just an easy fix for that application. Finding regular pins is easier than removing wood.

Oddly enough, a Dremel is an easy fix for this kind of thing.

If you have any extra/duplicate dremel attachments you can cut the shaft to length and use them for action pins.

Of the two barreled actions one is complete and the other is awaiting a stock.

Action #1 got a new stock and a new barrel. The old barrels had literally tens of thousands of rounds through them. So a new Ruger barrel was the way to go.

Action #2 got it's new bull barrel and waiting on UPS for the new stock.

Looking forward to scopes, rails and rings. Any suggestions on those would be helpful.
