    Bought Sig Sauer 522*Picked up*Updates!

I was just window shopping at Big 5 and there it was! Thanksgiving sale for only 439 bucks! Reg price is 540 bucks. Just DROS it and I will post some pictures when she gets out of jail. They also have ATI MP5SD and AK 47 variant 22 lr, but I don't know about that manufacturer so I just bought the Sig instead. 11 days wait!

Rivercity Gun Exchange in Sacramento has the Sig 522 for $370 until Dec 12 I think. I checked it out and wasn't too impress with it. The stock has way too much movement for my taste. I can't try out the trigger because the policy is no dry firing on any rimfire.

522 are awesome. To get a lighter trigger pull remove the spring and bend it in the direction of travel

Congrats on the 522! It is great .22 rifle. The ATI, GSG's are glorified airsoft toys, where as the Sig is a true scaled down military trainer.

Don't let anyone fool you, the stock is just fine, three adjustments for length of pull and two shoulder pads to choose from. I shot rifleman with my 522 using Federal bulk, so accuracy is superb.

Now you just have to pick up a couple of bricks of .22 and a few more mags.

Nice! Which big 5 did you go to? My local big 5 has on sale for 459. Told me I had to wait 'til black Friday to get their early bird special at 439, which I really don't want to do.

I honestly miss my 522 more than my AR... haha It really was a lot of fun to shoot and I would pick another one up in a heart beat.

Is the sig522 suppose to come with iron sights now? Just picked up my rifle from Big 5, and no sights in the box. When I bought the rifle 11 days ago, the salesperson said it came with iron sights, but they just didn't put them on the display model (they sold me the display).

I bought mine at Big 5 Fairfield. The sales lady was so cool that she sold me the rifle as an early bird special already! She got me a new box, opened it up and there it was. The Sig hard case comes with a rifle, mag, charging handle(hidden in the grip), manual, lock, and sights! Picking it up 12/02

Sights aren't included. You can use any standard AR rail mount sights for the rear and front of a railed 522, but the standard 522 will require a Sig 522/556 type gas block sight.

I love my Sig 522 SWAT. It has been uber reliable with all types of ammo, including Remington thunderbolts and other bulk ammo. Can't say the same of other rimfires I've owned. Accuracy-wise, it's excellent, although inknow i havent pushed it to its potential because all I have on it is a red dot.

This is the ammo that I'm gonna feed it and the scope.

I don't think you have enough ammo over there! lol. Goodness. I get happy when I buy 2k rounds. Did you get some kind of good deal on 22.
