Anyone have one yet? It was approved on 11/7/11. It looks pretty cool.

I wondered how the heck Guns Fishing & Stuff in Vacaville was taking orders - I didn't know this thing has a mag disconnect and LCI.

I saw one at a gun shop when I picked up my gsg. Its small. The size is similar to a sig mosquito. The gun shop also wanted 569 for it. I was interested in one til I saw it. I was kinda disappointed.

No LCI; not needed on rimfire guns.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

So the Ruger MkIII has one even though it isn't needed?

I knew it was reduced size, but I was hoping that the reduced size would allow them to use a steel slide. But alas its an aluminum slide/frame. Fail IMO.

You probably don't want a full steel slide for that size anyway. It will require too much force to cycle the slide.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

I think the 22 would have a hard time with a steel frame, Oldnoob has it right on that. It's not bad for a lady with small hands maybe, but as a training pistol in lieu of a 1911 it doesn't work out.
