It takes Ruger .22 Magnum magazines, the rifle is basically built off the Ruger platform

I've never understood the need for a .22 Magnum unless you live in a state where centerfire cannot be used to hunt but rimfire can.
.223 is better in every way. The cost is about the same for ammunition, if not a little cheaper for the .223.
Ballistics are also better for the .223
I have lots of request for a .22 Magnum AR conversion.

You can get 22wmr rounds for 12 bucks or so for a 50 round box last I saw them on sale. I don't know how much .223's are going for but I'd be surprised if they were the same.

The rounds are a lot lighter and much smaller shells which saves room when hiking etc.

They are well suited for small to medium small game as you won't ruin the meat (unless your like 10 feet away and gut shoot something. It will blow up).

I LOVE this rimfire round and a tube fed .22 mag rifle is on my aquisition list since I've missed my old Marlin every day since I sold it.

I'd buy a 10/22 magnum in a heart beat if they fixed the extraction problmes and the bolt cracking problems. I'm seriously considering a 10/22 mag that's been built up for $950. I wouldn't hesisitate to buy a stock Ruger 10/22 mag though for $400-$450ish if they ever brought it back with the problems fixed.

I keep hopeing Ruger sees the demand and brings it back with the problems fixed. I'm sure Bill Ruger is rolling around in his grave in dissapointment.
