My GSG 1911 is the 'tactical' model, and it came with a threaded barrel and faux suppressor.
However, I pinned the cap onto my barrel (while the barrel was out of the gun), thus making it a non-threaded barrel to where I could legally insert and use it in my GSG. The faux suppressor is junk and looks like crap. Not to mention the inner diameter is so much larger than the barrel (I can drop a .45 ACP round through it).
My GSG is really no different from everybody elses. Except that mine came with black grips (plastic), threaded barrel, fake can, and no 'CA' on the slide. It's also one of the earlier ones with the beefy guide rod so I've never had any issues with my gun.
