Very light I would imagine. The hand guard itself is very light weight and I would say the new hand guards are polymer. I have not had hands on a set yet.

I honestly don't see what this has to offer over the TRX-E and the MI SS series. Those two are light weight, and seem to be MUCH more modular than this "revolution". Maybe these "revolution"s will cost less... there must be something to them that I am not getting, as someone with a lot of cash (and hopefully brains) green lighted them.

I believe the main selling point was the cost and the very narrow profile. Plus the user ability to set up rails/hand guards as needed.
I use M.I., DD, LaRue, YHM, and the CMMG. It's just a different option.
For quality and proven performance, I'll stick with Daniel Defense. But the DD is $350 compared to $119 for the Revolution.

So when are they going to post more info on it? Anything about a price?

The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.

Maybe no one should produce new handguards simply because you seem think that Troy and MI somehow have the market cornered? Maybe CMMG should have just copied those guys like Daniel Defense and almost everyone else seems to have, just to get a piece of the market. It's something different. I have never known that to be a bad thing.

If it's as light and low profile as it looks in that picture, I think I found the handguard for my future 22LR and 9mm SBR uppers. Thanks for posting.

I recently purchased this one from Dave:

Still waiting for it to come in the mail but excited to put together my AR15.22

I agree, new things are always good. It opens up the market and may even help lower prices as there is a little more competition.

I have the Revolution hand guard mounted on a 5" Clint Beyer barrelled .22LR upper with a TAC 65 suppressor. The can barely fit inside but it is very light weight.
I'll get a picture up for you. I just have not had hands on the new add on polymer hand guard.

That handguard look awsome! I'm thinking of getting that for my 22 from CMMG.

You just copy the alphanumeric code in the URL (or "share video" link - in this case "bYD76kXpA0o"), click the "YouTube" button on the editor and paste that code between the "YOUTUBE" tags.

Thank you very much. I've spent the last hour trying to do that.
