I went with the .50 cal one along with some other things like the larger charging handle and an extra power spring upgrade from Wolf's.

Is there a link to the .50 cal brake for the 10/22? I assume .50 cal is a brand name in this case ....

Usually a similar style brake is featured on .50 cal sniper rifles.

Tactical that is the one I bought. It looks like the brake on the .50 Big Boys I shot in another lifetime. When I saw it I tagged it in my head as a .50 cal brake for a 10/22.

What I picked up for my 10/22 is

Tapco OD furniture
Simmons .22 mag Scope
Butler Creek Scope Covers
4 x 25 round BX-25s
Paddle Release (I Have an old gen 10/22)
Skeleton Charging Handle
10/22 Muzzle Brake
The Wolf Spring Extra Power spring kit
New Springs from Ruger that the wolf pack does not cover
The auto bolt release

Once it comes in I will take the 10/22 apart clean it and grease it then put it back together with the new parts.

My only concern is I shoot CCI Standard velocity and with the heavier springs the CCI SV may no longer cycle properly. If it does not I will have to find some new ammo.

I'm new to ruger 10/22 so the more you change on these rifles the the less type of ammo you can shoot, is this true?

No. Not really. Only item I can think of is some barrels will not work properly with CCI Stingers and other with 60 grain match ammo. But otherwise nothing should effect what ammo you can use. Also keep in mind every gun and every form of ammo is different. Something will work for you and not work for your buddy next to you, or visa versa. Things like that.
