    .22 rifle Tactical Drill?

Just wonder, do any outdoor range offer a place to do tactical drill or shooting steel plate for fun or competition?

If you live in orange or riverside county, there is Corona Sportsmens club. We are in Lake mathews area. We have a 22 tactical shoot next saturday. Steel plates and other goodies. Guests welcome.

I would also like to know this. I've been wanting to join for awhile now, but I know there's a pretty long wait to get in.
Can you just walk on if you want to attend one of these events?

Just come to any of the shoots on the weekends and ask the shoot chairman for an application. You can shoot the weekend shoots as a guest for $15. PM me for directions.

Membership will open again in Spetember, so you might want to attend the monthly meeting, it is a friendly meeting with lots of non-members at each meeting.

I can't seem to to find this info easily. What are the distances on the ranges there?

              Thanks.

                  no.. very different places...
CSC does not have an address that really exists.. but this is close enough.. if you show up with around 8-830 saturday morning and just wait around looking lost one of the cars turning off the paved road will be more than happy to let you follow them into the range.. its about 4-5 miles down dirt roads, its rough but as long as your car is not lowered you should have no issue..

                  bring
                  -$15
-.22 rifle (mag fed is best, tube fed works... 3+ mags)
                  -.22 pistol (+3 mags/speed loaders)
-holster if youve got one if you dont its not an issue
                  -200+ rounds
                  -eyes/ears
                  -drink
                  -snack

                  we run 2 classes
                  -limited
                  one round per target
                  iron sights

                  -unlimited
                  shoot till you hit
                  optics

-both classes are limited to 10 rounds per mag, its more fun that way
                  -distances 2-50 or so yards
-targets are reactive metal usuially no paper at all
-no crawling, jumping, climbing, however you will move
                  -new shooters, kids welcome
Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

if you are really nice and help out theres usuially someone sticking around for some shooting that wont mind having you shoot for a bit as their guest.. as for needing a pistol its also usuially not an issue however due to the way things have worked out this is the first match in 2 months so who knows what the turn out will be.. i dont have an extra to lend you but thats not to say that no one will.. all you can do is show up and ask.. worst someone can do is say no then kidnap you and keep you as a personal slave for a very very long time.. or heck.. maybe you will end up shooting the whole thing with a rifle..

                              third saturday of every month..
