    Price check Marlin 60

I have been looking for a Marlin 60 with the black synthetic stock and haven't been able to find one around me, anyone know where to get these? And if so how much, I would consider a wood stock as well if the price is right

I saw one a a used gun shop but he wanted $175 for it, it had checkered wood stock though.

I'm in the Torrance / Los Angeles area

You can special order any marlin through big 5 sporting goods! the SS model 60 with laminate stock (which is the gun i am thinking of getting) would cost $279.99
probably alot cheaper for a blued/sythetic one, you should check them out.

There was a synthetic one for sale on here but it's way up north, still looking for either a used one or one in a store

        Marlin 60

I've had my Marlin 60 for over 18years 18rd tube feed. It had a wood stock originally, but I just put on the newer assault type stock from Midway and am very happy with the overall results

Most synthetic stocks on inexpensive rifles flex too much and affect accuracy. Wood is a better choice unless you just need to have that "look".

Here is a link to a shop that can get it for you. He deals through Davidson's which is large distributor. So any gunshop that deals with them should be able to get it for you at the same or nearly the same &&&.

I'm pretty sure the synthetic stock is not going to make my bad shooting any less accurate, the plan is for Tech Sights on the black model 60 and a sling and call it good. I have contacted Bass Pro in Rancho Cucamonga and they will order it after I go down and pay for it, and then I wait the 10 days and they said it would be delivered within that time. Will cost $160 plus tax and $25 DROS.

glad you found it.. turners and bass pro put them on sale every few months.. sometimes wood sometimes plastic.. either way for big5 pricing you might was well get 2 of them somewhere else..

Good price, you will be happy with a 60. I have one from 1985 and still a great shooter. Don't think you can wear them out.
