    Love/hate .22lr AR

Just shot my .22lr AR. Love the accuracy but hate having to load my magazines. Seems like it takes forever. Anyone know how to load a BDM mag faster?

        That's awesome, but $130?

Seems like an awkward and overpriced design. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, I choked on that price also, but if you look at their Thumb loader page, they have a thumb loader for $10.

It's a pain to load my 30 round Ceiner mags as well. But I guess I am lucky to feel that pain.

Sweet jesus, 130 is too high unless you have a registered lower and are spitting out shells.

Guess I will go for the thumb loader till I move out of state a buy a registered lower. Ratatatatat for a few cents.

I modded my BCM mags which consisted of pushing the follower all the way to the bottom, drilling a hole through the mag body and lower flat of the follower.
I use a plastic rod to push the follower down, a pin to hold the follower, and tilt the mag back, dropping one round at a time, leaning the mag forward to drop the round in place.
Not as complicated as it sounds with a little practice and no more sore thumbs.

Can you post some pics for reference?

Reading this makes me feel like I have seen a thread where the poster had modded the magazine with a string so you could pull the follower down for easy loads.

Thats the Tampon mod. I just wouldn't feel right.
I'll try to pull up info.

First I want to give credit to shadowcop, I got this idea from one of his post. There seems to be some interest in this mod so here is an example to help you. Sorry for crappy pics. This modification

Thanks, I appreciate this, and my girlfriend will too. Loading is her least favorite part of shooting, come to think of it, mine too.
