The Bushnell TRS-25 is too small for quick aquisition. I use the Primary Arms M4 on my AR.

+1 on Bushnell TRS-25...very accurate and fast acquisition of targets. I enjoy my red dot a lot. It's affordable, durable and reliable...It comes with CR2032 battery that I have been using for 6 months now. I bought it for my 22/45 on opticsplanet when it was on sale for 79 dollars...Now it's around 89 and free shipping, still a good deal...Highly recommended...
