I agree with MrPlink, with a HUGE market like California its dumbfounding why the big-wig manufacturers continue to ignore our strict compliance issues. All the non-restricted states can continue to bash us and say "move to ____" but realistically that's not a practical solution.
Can't imagine the thinking involved of the decision makers for these companies who forgo the millions of dollars in lost revenue for CA consumers.
I recently bought the Sig 522 classic for the sake of CA-compliance. Modifying to my specific preference is a choice and if I want the SWAT (CA compliant) or Commando-style, I'll have to do it with or without the manufacturers assistance. Sure would be nice to "buy it" that way (and would be much more convenient for some) but personally... where's the fun in that?
