I think not CA compliant due to only being in the 25 round capacity initially. Once it comes out I think there's a few merchants out there willing to swap it for the 10 rnd. But yeah it's basically the same 522 variant with a fake can.

Why would you need to weld the can?
Only makes sense if the rifle would be an SBR otherwise. Contrary to SIG and what folks think, threaded barrels on rifles are 100% legal in CaThe California Moderate Centrist Militia member in exile

Detachable fake supressor is completely legal as long as you meet the barrel length and overall length requirements.Comment

I'm 100% sure its ok. Most of my rifles have threaded barrels. If you have a mag lock you can even have it on a pistol.
