looking for a really nice .22 semi auto

i have a friend that has a few years old 10-22 and it is pretty nice but he is looking to get something newer. I was thinking about the 10-22 myself but now i think i might want to go with something different as well.

Im now thinking something more tactical looking like the M&P 15-22

is the M&P worth the price or is there something else i should be looking at?

Another choice might be ruger sr22. but I do think m&p looks nicer.
how about getting s ar and getting a 22lr conversion kit.

me personally I would buy a ruger 10 22 and get the nordic conversion kit kinda pricey$180 but still cheaper than m&p 22( ...I think.). plus you can customize it exactly way you want.. stock, pistol grip. etc. I would stay away from archangel stock..hard to install. and troublesome to takedown to clean.

        Browning .22 Takedown.

Everybody and their brother has a wonder gun lookalike these days.

When I can scrub up the cash, I'll get another Takedown to replace my Beloved Belgian that died in a fire.

        Got it LDH?

Get a Sig 522, it is the nicest tactical .22 out there

Hard to beat a 10/22. Tried and true and you can kit it out to look tactical if you wish.

Money no big factor: COLT...can never go wrong with a COLT

Money a factor: Mossbergs new one, cheap, just use good ammo.

If you have an AR lower, I would suggest a CMMG .22LR upper with stainless bolt.

For a light weight low cost Tacticool .22lr you could try a Plum Crazy lower with a Chiappa Upper. $299 shipped for the upper and about $175 to $200 for the lower; that includes shipping and DROS.
                      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
