CCI tactical ammo?

Is this just an attempt to capitalize on the tactical 22lr rifles or is there a real difference between this and any of the standard ammo?

Sounds like a straight up marketing ploy. In all honesty, it sounds very lame. Tactical rimfire, really? LAME.

Besides, you can get three boxes of regular CCI Blazer .22 at Big 5 for less than that price. No contest there.

Yikes, a hundred bucks for 1500 rounds of 22lr!? Who are they kidding? I can get 1500 rounds for less than half that almost anywhere else. Also, "tactical .22"...lame gimmick.

It's the new NATO SS 109 .22 LR ammo, non corrosive, and specially designed for the 1 in 16 twist rate . I'm surprised no one has heard about it yet. I'm just disappointed the depleted uranium AP round is Military only. I hear they're going to start using it on KC-130 Gunship as the new Puff ammo in Afghanistan LOL....

"Tactical" is what you DO with the rifle.

There's as much difference between 'tactical' .22's and other .22 rifles as there is with the ammo.

There are also enough folks who think there really is a difference to make the 'tactical' ammo a choice.
