The Browning Buckmark would be a great option. They have several barrels and accessories available for them, and also in my opinion feel better in my hand than the Ruger MK series, but that's personal preference, either way you go they are sound pistols. Another option would be a Heritage Arms Rough Rider, they come in a few different barrel lengths and have different grip options as well if your into the single action thing.Comment

the old lady has a berretta neos with the shorter barrell and herand the kids love it. it is a bit heavier on the top side than most but it helps with the muzzle flip. its accurate and will take any ammo you put in it. also alot easier to dissasemble and clean than most 22 auto's. have a sig mosquito also but havent shot it yet, feels good though."No man who refuses to bear arms in defense of his nation can give a sound reason why he should be allowed to live in a free country"

+1 for the S&W's. I had a 422, loved it, I'm incredibly pissed to have had to sell it years ago. The 22A's are really nice too - most of my relatives have at least one of those, even my 85 year old grandmother.NRA Life Member
