Thanks for the advice everyone.......I have made my purchases !!!!
First the bad: I stopped by "Guns, Fishing, and Stuff" in Vacaville for the first and last time. I hate to rip on the store since I have only been there once, but it was bad. Me and the GF spent 40 minutes in there and couldn't get any employees to help me make a purchase. They were somewhat busy, so I was ready to wait my turn. I told 3 different employees that I would like some help to buy some guns (plural) when they were free. All three employees seemed more interested in either chatting with each, chatting with looky-lu's, or approaching any other customers as we waited. It was so bad that it was comical. FYI, I had showered, shaved, and I was dressed in clean clothes
Plus I had the cash burning a hole in my pocket! I could go into more detail, but let's move on to some positives.
Went to City Arms in Pacifica and the staff was great. Helped me compare every pistol model that I was interested in. They were very helpful. I ended buying a Mark III, Blued Target Model, 5.5 barrel. Also bought some other odds and ends for my other guns.
Then I heard that Big 5 was having a sale on 10-22s. They had the model that I wanted, SS barrel w/ black stock on sale for $259. So I bought one. They had another model on sale for $229. Quick and easy sale.
I have a bunch of .22lr ammo already,,,,,can't wait to use it. I like to shoot so most of my guns get a workout. Can't wait to shoot the new ones!Comment
