mines just the standard with the weaver mount and scope. i was wondering how much effort is it gonna take to put a bull barrel on it

good stuff fellas. i cant wait to shoot it, i want to put a bull barrel on it just need to know what stock i got to use or just grind the old one down so its free floating. the rifle will be used for plinking squirrels and the youngins that want to shoot when we go out for a day. plus i want to practice using scopes for windage and adjusting for distances. is there any good reads on how to work down scopes to compensate for distances. hopefully the .308 can come by before summer. happy shooting to all who hace their rifles already. cheers

If you are going with a bull barrel you should look into the Hogue synthetic stocks, they are nice. The barrel and stock combo is going to cost almost as much as you paid for the rifle, just fyi. But have fun with it! That 1022 gave me many days of enjoyment.

Gunkings.com is a good site to get 10/22 equipment. They tend to have the lowest prices around and most of the time free shipping too.

Have fun with the 10/22 are you going scoped or irons? If you go scope take a look at the Muellers either an APV or APT great scopes for a 10/22 and not that expensive.
