Browning 1911 .22 to be released?

Well it says the slide is machined aluminum and the frame is alloy. Does that mean pot metal, excuse me alloy?

Browning products are usually made in the USA or Belgium or in Japan---you get to pay more, but usually get a superior product. "Alloy" can just mean aluminum---not a bad choice for a .22lr. I wish the pistol came with better sights then the ones pictured---maybe later. Armscorp products, in my mind, are generally crap.

The specs say barrel length of 4 1/4, Commander length. 10 round magazine, so full size grip frame?

Gotta see one to tell for sure.

browning is very pricey anyways.....that is a nice looking pistol, but not sure if its worth it for a .22
