One were to fire .22 Ramset cartridges in a .22 rifle? Would that work as a blank? Is that dangerous? A friend told me he's done it several times... But it seems like a terrible idea.

just seems like it would be unsafe in the sense that its not being used for its intended purpose... if that makes sense. but i guess don't really see what could be too dangerous about it

When I was a youngster I used to shoot them in a Colt revolver. I used the wooden garage door as a backstop. The wad would put a deep dent the wood, so be very careful with them.Comment

a ramset fires a .22 short blank... so.. no problem..Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!
