I am wondering what is mechanically different about .22 Dedicated CMMG uppers that allows them to extract live rounds? The reason I ask is I have a Tactical Solutions dedicated .22 that I would like to mod so that it will extract live rounds as well.

That notch is what does the trick. Thousands of rounds down the pipe and not a single FTE yet.sigpicComment

The geometry of the extractor notch is different. Basically, it's cut closer to the chamber.Independent Field Tester/Research and Developement
