    New M&P 15-22

I just picked her up and put a couple hundred down the pipe. Had a few jams but nothing too note worthy (think it was the way my gf loaded the mags, but its not like I'm going to criticize the helper). Super fun gun!!

Congrats on the new blaster. They are a hoot to shoot. When you have the opportunity, try different brands of ammo. My 15-22 loves CCI Mini Mags and Blazer ammo.

When cleaning, if nothing else, detail strip the bolt/rail assembly and wipe it clean. Especially, the 2 rail slots on the bolt. Lube it up and you are good to go. Enjoy!

I've put 100-150 rounds of Federal bulk through mine with like 2 or 3 jam ups. Probably an error on my end in how I loaded it or a manufacturing defect in the individual rounds.

How much did you pick yours up for? Do you know if you can get them a piece at a time?

They generally m.s.r.p. low 500's, but shop around and find them for less.

I've never seen them sold a piece at a time...not like a regular AR if that is what you mean??

Thanks guys!! Already put 400 rounds through her and love it! I will definitely try the Mini Mags and a few others. Also thanks for the cleaning advice... I did clean / lube the rails on the bolt and it actually cycles better.

Thanks. I really like the "AR" style of these... Especially the bolt and the magazine. I was hoping that perhaps one could be built in the same fashion.

I tried mine on last Sunday.
I put through about 300 round with these ammo
Remington golden bullet (brass-plated), CCI blazer, CCI mini-mag, CCI stinger.
                            Winchester 333.
I believe their all are fine except Winchester.
but I notice one thing, making sure you load ammo right on the magazine.
Just one at a time and flat on the magazine.
My friend is always trying to load a lot at one time and causing fail to load ammo..
                            hurting the bolt !!!!!
                            just some pointer

When I go shooting with my buddies, everybody always ends up shooting my 15-22 until the very end.

Could just be the cheaper ammo.
