I only shoot Federal bulk pack and various CCI loads (mini mags, stingers, cb shorts, etc.) from Walmart in my rimfires. I've never had a single failure of any kind in ~5000 rounds through a Marlin 60SB and a 981TS. Surprising, I know, but true. They all fed, went bang, and extracted just fine. People seem to have the most issues with feeding cheap ammo. I've not had that problem. Tube-fed .22s are just more reliable it seems. No ill-fitting magazines, bent feed lips, mangled followers, or weak springs to worry about.
