    Yep, the vids do alright...the one thing...I NEVER use Minwax stains...they SUCK.
    I've got a few years working at an Unfinished Furniture store, I know which products cause the most problems...

    I got to where I'd tell folks beforehand, don't use Minwax, go with almost ANY other name brand stain.
    If you use Minwax, don't be surprised by any oddities.

    I like their clearcoats, but I'll never use their stains again. I've learned better.

    RIT Dyes are GREAT for riflestocks
    Formby's stains...
    Old Dad's...
    General Finishes...
    Wood You brand...
    All good stuff

        Heres one I redid for my son, the rifle I bought at Kmart in 1976 for $29.95. not a bad look for the old war horse!
