I've had a Sig Mosquito for 2 years. The only ammo it has no problems with is CCI Mini-Mags, Fiocchi HV and Aquila Sniper SubSonic with 60 grain bullet.

Check the Sig Forum for great info on how to make your Mosquito work.

Daisy 2202 .22lr. Never found a magazine for it after 10 years and sold the rifle for $50. It actually shot really well but there was never any customer service about them from daisy and they claimed to have never made a rimfire.

Tec-22. One of the biggest POSes ever made. I'd rather rely on my Davis derringer. Well, that's not entirely true. I could always rely on the Tec-22 to pop the top cover ever round or two.

why would you be joking? I've seen a number of mosquitos which constantly had problems. I wouldn't own one.

I had 2 but both did not have magazines. I found one one time but the guy wanted $150 for the magazine by itself.

I had no love for my GSG-5. Collector's item or not, it was a POS. Mine was too finicky when it came to ammunition....always jammed on me, and it was quite annoying to strip and clean. For all its so-called German engineering, the stripping process was so much more different than an actual H&K. I had an H&K SP89 and it was far easier with the takedown pins.

                TEC-22

Thought it would be cool because it would accept 10/22 mags, but it was a complete POS. Constructed with lots of plastic in places I would not think aluminum would be acceptable. I don't think that pistol ever fired more that 2 shots without jamming.

Had the displeasure of that "gem" before I moved to CA.

Remington "Nylon 66". First gun I ever bought, a few days after my 18th birthday. (Many moons ago). It was certainly "used and abused", but I did buy it in a gun store. The stock was loose, I could never get it to tighten up. Rear sights were either installed wrong or modded wacky. The tiny little mag wouldn't stay clipped firmly into place, had to hold it in, for it to feed properly. I did work on it, but I didn't have it long. Went back to the same store, they let me trade it and with cash I added, I walked out with an SKS.
with all due respect...the nylon 66 did not have a "clip"...it had a tube feed thru the bottom of the butstock. What you had was the relatively short lived Nylon 77....I dont know a great deal about these, but I do know that the nylon 66s were such a piece of crap, that you would be lucky to find one now under $300....people dont want to sell these babys very often....P.s you did get a "must have" SKS in the deal,so you did OK

Oh well... whatever. That was decades ago. Maybe it was labeled wrong, maybe I was misinformed, maybe it was just too damn long ago. Still the worst .22 I've ever owned.

Not mine, but my older brother's. My dad bought my 2 older brothers single shot bolt action .22s for christmas many moons ago (I got a Daisy BB gun) I think he bought the .22s @ Western Auto, anyhow, one of them had the barrel bored cockeyed(about 1/4" off center at the muzzle at about 45 deg angle low and left) They took it back to exchange it, but W A brought them in on a special deal and they had sold them all, so my brother oppted to keep it. He made a goofy front sight for it and was actualy able to hit a target @ 25 yds with the POS.
I think my nephew still has it.

I bought a Sterling in 1980 for $80. 5 shot mag never could be shot w/o a jam. Sold the POS last year for $80!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

A SIG Trailside. A serious disappointment. The plastic trigger flexed a bit, ruining the pull. Brand new, it already had some rust in the frame where the trigger guard pulled out under the barrel. And once per magazine, a spring under the right grip would pop out of place, disconnecting the trigger from the sear, forcing you to dis/re-assemble the pistol. I finally JB welded the damn thing in place and promptly sold it.

Bought a Beretta 87, which is MUCH better. Still, I can't help but think I should have saved up for the S&W 41. Definitely getting older. Might be getting wiser.

                                Rhineland Arms R22...

Worst .22 I ever owned. Ripped case heads off, blew all kinds of particles from all kinds of openings, wouldn't function with any of my mags reliably, horrible customer service, etc., etc., etc.

Cool looking rifle with a neat idea. Mine just never pulled it off.
