Well, I used to have a Tech .22 but that doesn't really count. I paid $50 for that POS...

Aside from that, I really didn't like my Nylon 66. It was a pain to clean (tons of springs, pins and small parts) and it didn't have a detachable mag. The spring-tube thing was annoying...

    Reliable though. Functioned well enough...

Mine needed HV LRN rounds to function without failures. It wasn't worth the hassle, so it got sold.

SIG MOSQUITO! But instead of being mad at it, I used it as an excuse to learn gunsmithing! Now it runs, but with hot loads only! Almost as much recoil as a 9mm makes it a good trainer though! Stingers make one hell of a fireball for a .22!

Im suprised to see the P22 of the crap list...

My buddy has one and I love it. I think its a great little range toy with little to no problems.

I have a Beretta Neos .22; only gripe I have with this gun is the trigger sucks.

Posted this in the "Worst Gun" thread...

Remington "Nylon 66". First gun I ever bought, a few days after my 18th birthday. (Many moons ago). It was certainly "used and abused", but I did buy it in a gun store. The stock was loose, I could never get it to tighten up. Rear sights were either installed wrong or modded wacky. The tiny little mag wouldn't stay clipped firmly into place, had to hold it in, for it to feed properly. I did work on it, but I didn't have it long. Went back to the same store, they let me trade it and with cash I added, I walked out with an SKS.

Toss up between my Beretta 21a or my Charter Arms AR-7. Both have Feed issues and the Beretta likes to pop the slide off the rails on the lower. I haven't shot either in over a year.

The only gun I ever bought brand new, ( up to that time)
                    S&W 22A.
                    Loved the way it felt.
No ammo ever ran right, and I tried them all, differnet mags, cleaned/dirty, just would not run
The grooves on teh optics rail are just cut sort of random, no uniform spacing, optics never really fit,
I sold it at a loss and was glad of it.

I'll 2nd the Walther P22 as my Worst .22 Ever... Never functioned properly.

Colt Woodsman 2nd Series has been the best for me so far. Around 30 years of excellent service. Eats everything, that Pony is hungry.

                        I"m one lucky s.o.b.

I have a Walther P22 that runs like a top. So does my Beretta Model 21. I"ve put numerous boxes of ammo through both. My Nylon 66 is a great rifle, but its the tube fed through the buttstock variant which I think is more reliable than the magazine fed version. In my younger days I even had a Jennings 22 that ran fine, I just didn't like that it wasn't safe to carry with a round in the chamber.

However I did have a Bernadelli .22lr I could never get to run properly.

I just need to put in here that I have a few 10/22's and they are great fun to customize.

Evidently, everyone here already knows that.

The 10/22, before I replaced the; hammer, bolt buffer, extractor, mag release, barrel (actually the old barrel shot great cold shots); polished the bolt guide rod, and portions of the receiver; relieved the stock and removed the barrel band; and added a pad to increase the total length. With the magazine loader I can now shoot this gun all day now and forgive the occasional stovepipe.

Decently accurate once you figure out where the trigger breaks, which is at about 15 pounds w/ an inch of travel

If anyone knows how to improve the trigger on one o these, i'll name my baby after you
Same Here, garbage. Actually had them service it a few times before I realized it was a design flaw.

I once had a Charter Arms AR-7. What a piece of C%ap!!! Absolutely worthless. I put that one in my vise, bending and crushing it before tossing it in the trash. I think I was initially drawn to the way the "weapon" would break down and store inside the plastic stock. Live and learn.
