Every year DU will have some sponsor guns where manufacturers would make DU guns and donate money to DU. I have a couple of DU guns and honestly they are not worth that much more then their non-DU counter parts. There are some exceptions ... The Beretta 687 O/U small gauge always seems to be up there, as are the Browning A5 16ga, the Winchester 23's are up there as well. I am not a DU expert, but usually lower end commemoratives like Ruger 10/22's, Mossberg 500's aren't gonna ever bring the money or ever become a collector value type of investment guns.

That said, your Marlin would probably fall into the lower end of the spectrum. I would keep it, as the sentimental value would far outweight the couple hundred you would probably get for this piece.

Nice little Marlin- What bipod do you have? Here is a pic of my Marlin 882 22Mag, I have the Stoney Point bipod and would like to have adjustable legs.

A- thanks I like it alot I wouldn't mind having a 22mag those are fun. The bipod is a Winchester 9-13 adjustable that I got from walmart for like 30 or 40 bucks. I wish it was a 6-9 but it does it's job
