I have some Blazer ammo (200 rds) that I'll be shooting in a Ruger 10/22. I also have some CCI Minimag (JHP and clad round nose) that I'll be shooting as well. I find the Blazer stuff to be pretty dirty compared to Minimag. Does it make any difference in which order I shoot the two kinds? I'm thinking that the Minimag after Blazer may clean some of the Blazer gunk out. Or does it not matter?

I didn't know that CCI made Mini-Mags with jacketed bullets. Are you sure these aren't just plated with a thin coat of copper?

Copper .22LR ammo isn't really copper "jacketed" lead. It's more like copper "painted" lead. I know there is a debate about firing jacketed ammo at the end of an all lead range session with calibers like .38 Special. No matter what the answer is in that debate, it doesn't apply to .22 rimfire. One cloth patch down the bore at the end of the day is more than enough cleaning for a .22LR firearm.__________________
