Colt/Umarex trigger 4.5 lbs

LOL he doesn't need more info, he is going to need a new trigger pack from Umarex if his original is truly lost. but good luck I was told by someone that tried that Umarex would not or could not provide a separate trigger pack

OP I hope he (Bill) finds it. Its probably sitting somewhere in his shop or something.

Haha, i wish i had my intact rifle to teardown. It's an awesome sequence. Anyways i'm still getting it tracked by US postal so i won't speculate till i get more info.

Update: Bill says he might have made a mistake and might have my trigger. I'm hoping he has it LOL. After all, i did pay him already LOL.

Update2: I was contacted by Umarex, and they said i might be able to buy the trigger pack, they sent me a schematic and asked what i needed LOL. I said the whole thing LOL. I hope it doesn't cost more then the gun. Sometimes these parts have ridiculous prices.

Ok, got an order form from Umarex, they have been great. I told them what happened and i'm just going to order one. It's not cheap, but i expected that. On the other hand, it's been not to say the least, frustrating dealing with Bill. He's just so super slow to reply. If he's looking through his packages he could have replied by now. How hard is it to look for a black package that has my name on it. Ever since I sent it, he's just been acting like i might have it, i might not. I would not recommend this to anyone. He seems nice in his correspondance, if you get any LOL. Hard not to be frustrated when all i do is ask for him to look for my package and he gives me like one line of info every 2-3 days. Should i just forget it and dispute this and write him up? I mean this is mail fraud. How much more time should i give him? At the end of this week it would have been 12 days since he actually received my trigger. As a fellow engineer who worked on projects in Co Springs and Aurora, i thought i'd give him the business, but it's been a big mistake so far. I wouldn't be surprised if i get the umarex trigger before he finds it.

Well, it's been 12 days. Should i just report this guy? Is he for real? Nothing.. Nada. He doesn't even attempt to look for my trigger or send me a refund. Should i email him and tell him it's a federal offense and mail fraud to keep my trigger. I had the trigger delivery confirmed at his address and it says delivered.

I guess I got luck and had mines " Return to sender " b/c no one was there to received my package. Im sure Bill is pretty overwhelm during this time of the season, which is not an excuse, but Bill has always been this way.
Send him a register letter with your USPS received notice and inform him of your actions and see where it goes from there. If you dont hear back from him or he does nothing, then report him to USPS for mail fraud.

Yeah, that's fine if he's busy, just reply and say i have your trigger, or i don't and i'll refund your money. It's as easy as that. I just hate wasting another penny for this person, but i almost want to take him to court just to pay for my new trigger at the least. How can you lose an umarex trigger pack, it's like a solid piece of metal LOL. It's just a sad story all the way. But if he thinks he can just sit there and not pay my paypal back, he's got another thing coming. Some of my friends are lawyers and judges and work with the DA's here in LA. I might consult with them on what i should do.

OMG, he says he worked on 2 and doesn't know who they were. He said he'd check the names. It's not like my name is mike smith or something generic. So he asked my name again for the 5th time and says he might have worked on mine. He says he works 80 triggers a week and sends them out. Well if i get it next week, it's a done deal. If not, i give up.. I ordered a new trigger, and i looked at some new rifles. The ATI VK 22 and the SW MOE ed. I like both, but leaning towards the MOE edition. Just looks nicer LOL even though i have a 15-22 already.

Well, you know how you feel after a turbulent jet ride and it lands safely and you end up clapping LOL. Well, Bill emailed me now and said he found my trigger, he worked it and sent it out today. Said everything is fine LOL. OMG, was that a ride or what. But I have a feeling all is well and it is the 4th tomorrow, so I hope everyone is enjoying it. I would even buy Bill a beer if he was in town LOL. Thanks for all the input, and i'm glad it all worked out and I stayed safe and sane through the experience LOL. Anyways, look for a trigger review next week.

Woohoo got my trigger!

Ok, just got my trigger today and i gotta say, it feels pretty good. But it still has a solid feel until it gives but i attribute that because of the trigger design. When it does give, i can really tell that it's much lighter then it was. But i really want to compare with the S&W to really compare. i didn't open it, but parts looked like they were polished. Gotta give him a thumbs up. The hammer strike still feels solid so i don't think you'd get the full auto effect that i read about before. Anyways, here's a pic of it.. i know you can't see anything, but i'm glad i got it LOL. Will report this weekend on the feel and function.

haha, you can't wait till the weekend huh? I'll find out saturday, but i'm anxious to try it. Got my bulk pack of CCI's so i'll let you know as soon as i get back.

Ok, the trigger is great. It still has that slight initial hold, but very much lighter. At times felt lighter then the JP yellow kit in the S&W 15-22. No doubling or full auto LOL. Was a little nervous at first, but after a few double taps and fast trigger unloading of the 10rds, i knew this was done just right. For some reason when the trigger is lightened, it feels like i can feel a little bit more of the recoil, which i like. This gun is still heavy compared to the S&W, so you still don't feel more recoil like the S&W, but i think it's improved the colt 100%. The colt is fun again. I'll give Bill Springfield a thumbs up. Very nice mod and not bad for 50 bucks. Just give him time to do it and don't ask if he got it or not LOL. But yes, it's working well with those CCI's almost 0 problems in the first 200rds. Made the gun very much funner to shoot. Recommended mod! Well, i'll let you guys know how it is after a few thousand rounds through it. Today shot about 400 rds through it. Was really fun.
