    Colt/Umarex trigger 4.5 lbs

    Some of my friends on another board have sent their Colt/Umarex trigger paks in to Bill Springfield @TriggerWork.net, we're talking almost 10 lb pull down to 4.5-4.75 lbs. Around $49.00, 3 or 4 days turnaround.

      Nice, this is what i was looking for. Can you post the details, like do we just take apart the lower and send him the trigger housing and all intact? Where do we send and how do you want payment.

      thanks for the info,

      Mark

                I couldnt email Bill Springfield from the email above, but found his web page, and it had this contact info;
                wspringfield@comcast.net
                Hopefully he will email back and talk me through getting the trigger group out and off to him for a little trim job.
                wish me luck,

                  ok, the funny thing is i emailed him on that email address before i sent it and all was well. So maybe it's just a miscommunication i am hoping. Let me know if he contacts you chewbacca, could be he is on vacation or something.

                      He might be busy, but a simple quick email to say hey i got your trigger should be the norm huh? That was a question i asked in one of my first emails, i asked if he was busy, do not rush but at least let me know that you received my trigger. At least acknoledge one of the 5 emails i sent him LOL. I mean how can this be a good way to run a business. I still did not get a reply. I think if i hear absolutely nothing in 12 days, i'm disputing my payment and will have to file a report to the BBB. It's not like i demanded anything. I even paid him before the work was done. Who knows.. maybe he's working on it as we speak, but i just feel it's strange he doesn't reply at all.

                        Ok, not sure what's going on, but i did get a reply from Bill. He says he never got my package. I'm going to check with the post office as i had it delivery confirmed.

                          LOL he doesn't need more info, he is going to need a new trigger pack from Umarex if his original is truly lost. but good luck I was told by someone that tried that Umarex would not or could not provide a separate trigger pack

                          OP I hope he (Bill) finds it. Its probably sitting somewhere in his shop or something.

                          If it helps I never got a reply from his comcast email only from his triggerworks.net email.

                            Haha, i wish i had my intact rifle to teardown. It's an awesome sequence. Anyways i'm still getting it tracked by US postal so i won't speculate till i get more info.
